Learn to read and write the two Japanese phonetic syllabaries: hiragana and katakana.

The writing module uses animated kana to teach proper stroke order.
In the practice mode, the program watches as you draw each kana on its blackboard and helps you when you make a mistake.

Kanji Reader is a multi-volume series of lessons that teach kanji one character at a time. The lessons are designed to guarantee your success in learning kanji.  There are four volumes of Kanji Reader.

Each volume:

    * teaches 150 new kanji characters.
    * provides reading for meaning practice with thousands of words and phrases for you to read. There are over two thousand vocabulary items in each volume, and over ten thousand vocabulary items all together.
    * provides pronunciation practice with thousands of quiz items. The program itself generates unique pronunciation quizzes every time you run it.
    * builds on the previous volumes. With each additional volume, you learn 150 new characters while continuing to practice using characters taught in earlier volumes.

Kana Word Puzzles is a vocabulary-building program. It teaches over 2000 Japanese words, reinforces familiarity with hiragana and katakana, and provides hours of fun and linguistic growth.
